General Description
|
| BMMK, Ratcliffe, Hoare & Co Ltd was established
in Hong Kong in 1982 with the Chairman, N D Ratcliffe forming a practice
with a UK-based consultancies of Kenneth Severn & Partners and BMMK
Cotterell (later Bingham Cotterell). A rationalisation of the practice has
led to N D Ratcliffe, C C Chan becoming the directors. The practice undertakes
work in both the private and public sectors in general civil, structural
and geotechnical fields, and apart from traditional building and civil engineering
project design also works extensively with contractors on 'design and build'
and temporary works projects. The practice also undertakes damage assessment
survey and report work in both land and marine related cases. The bulk of
the firm's work is in Hong Kong, but a substantial number of projects have
been completed in China. Feasibility studies have been carried out in Cambodia,
Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. |

| The practice provides a fully comprehensive
range of consulting services for projects. The service includes completed
project management, feasibility, environmental and economic studies, cost
estimates and cost/benefit analysis, site surveys, ground investigations,
planning applications, designs, drawings, specifications, tender documents,
tender evaluation, supervision of construction, checking and certification
of contract payments, and commissioning of completed projects. |
