The firm originated as J. Roger Preston and Partners
in the United Kingdom in 1926 and the Hong Kong office was established
in 1962. The Hong Kong firm experienced considerable success and growth,
and established a reputation for excellence over a period spanning more
than 40 years in Hong Kong during which time the J. Roger Preston name
became widely known as the premier mechanical and electrical consultancy
practice in Hong Kong. In 1997, JRP was incorporated as a limited liability
company under the name J. Roger Preston Limited.
Within the region, the JRP Group of Companies currently employs in excess
of 350 engineers, project managers, technicians and construction professionals
in established offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Kuala
Lumpur and Singapore.
Clients include national and local government authorities, commercial
and industrial enterprises, multinational organisations and international
funding agencies.
JRP applies quality systems, safety procedures and environmental programmes
to ensure better management practice. We are a quality systems certified
company, and registered to ISO 9001.2000.
